Open Access Week is just around the corner, kicking off on October 24th. Our class will participate by presenting the Scalar book project that morning. There are also several related events that you can attend, all of them eligible for extra-credit blogging. You can read a bit more about the motivation for Open Access Week at WSU News. You can learn about Open Educational Resources available here at WSU at the Provost’s page. And you can find out more about the scheduled events at the Library’s page.
Don’t miss the screening of The Internet’s Own Boy about Aaron Swartz. Pro-tip: there will be snacks.
